CLIP: OBJ Is Becoming More Than a Bills "Luxury"
Unsteady WR Play After Diggs is Creating a Hole
In this clip from Friday’s Talking Buffalo Podcast, Aaron Quinn (Cover 1) joined me and among the topics we discussed is the Bills growing need for Odell Beckham Jr.
What not long ago felt like a luxury addition for a team sporting the most explosive if not the best offense in the entire NFL, things have certainly changed. Gabe Davis struggled with an ankle injury early on and while he’s had his moments in 2022 (Pittsburgh game) he’s been extremely inconsistent. That coupled with Isaiah McKenzie not being a steady factor and Ken Dorsey apparently unwilling to put much trust in rookie receiver Khalil Shakir leaves the Bills with a need for a player the caliber of Beckham.
OBJ is reportedly close to signing and there’s a handful of teams presumably in the mix, a list that includes Dallas, Kansas City, Baltimore and his former team (Rams). Myself and Aaron agree the Bills should be making a big push to land him for this season’s stretch run.
