On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran is solo to offer a bunch of opinions after watching the coaches All-22 film from the Buffalo Bills convincing victory over the Vegas Raiders in addition to discussing and analyzing several of the Pro Football Focus premium stats grade handed out to Buffalo this week.
Josh Allen turned things around after an ugly debut against the Jets. Patrick goes over a bunch of numbers and instances on film that support Allen's strong bounce back. He also talks about James Cook taking the next step, Gabe Davis being an important part of the offense, tight end usage and a terrific performance by the offensive line.
Another stellar effort by Matt Milano highlights the defensive side of the ball and Patrick has issues with Greg Rosseau not being graded higher by Pro Football Focus this week. That plus some final thoughts on play action calls and sustainably long drives being a huge key in the Bills getting into the win column.
